Harris & Harris continued their $25,000 pledge commitment to the Advocate Charitable Foundation in 2010. The Advocate Charitable Foundation relies on giving to assist Advocate Health Care in providing for its many patients, and to fund its clinical advancements and community outreach programs. Harris & Harris helped sponsor five events throughout the year. In early summer, Harris & Harris’s gifts went towards events contributing to the Heart and Vascular Center, the Autism Program, and the Midwest Children’s Brain Tumor Center and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program. Harris & Harris finished the year by sponsoring events that contributed to the Pediatric Emergency Department and the Crohn’s Disease and Colitis Program. Harris & Harris’ is recognized as one of Advocate Health Care’s Presidents Society members and is also listed on the 2010 Honor Roll of Donors.
