Every year, Harris & Harris attends nearly 50 tradeshows, conferences, and seminars. These events are a place for networking, educational sessions, industry updates, marketing and branding. There are many organizations we partcipate in and are sponsors of year after year. This Spring, we have attended just over 20 conferences so far through the first and second quarter.
Healthcare
HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association) and AAHAM (American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management) are the two main organizations that Harris & Harris participates in. There are national, regional, state, and local events and conferences held throughout the entire year. Some of the events we have attended so far have been:
HFMA Indiana, HFMA New York, HFMA Region 4: Mid Atlantic, HFMA Minnesota, HFMA North Dakota, HFMA Colorado, HFMA First Illinois, Healthcare Business Insights Retreat, HFMA Oregon, HFMA Northeast Ohio, and HFMA ANI (National).
Government
There are many local, regional, and national goverment organizations we participate in. NACM (National Assocation for Court Management) is one of our national organizations. There are other state and local organizations we attend throughout the year. Some of the events we have attended so far have been:
NACM, Indiana Clerk’s Association, GRCA (Government Revenue Collection Association), Arizona Courts Association, IACO (Illinois Association of Coutny Officials), Michigan Court Managers, Ohio Association of Municipal County Court Clerks, ISAA (Illinois State’s Attorney Association) and FTA (Federation of Tax Administrators).
Utility
There are a few utility organizations and events we participate in each year. The main event this year was the AGA (American Gas Association)/EEI (Edison Electric Institute) Customer Service Conference.
