Harris & Harris supports organizations nationwide, but also has a special dedication to Chicago, our hometown. We participate, sponsor, and raise money for various events and organizations all over the Chicagoland area. One of the events we sponsor every year is the Advocate Corporate Partners Networking Breakfast. This annual breakfast gives Advocate partners the opportunity to hear from Advocate Health Care’s CEO, Jim Skogsbergh.
This year’s breakfast was a particularly timely event, as the merger of Advocate Health Care and Wisconsin based system, Aurora Health Care was announced to the public just days before. As Jim Skogsbergh touched on, “our planned merger with Aurora Health Care will transform care delivery, expand access and spur innovation for our region. This opportunity allows us to extend our efforts in new ways and expand the impact of philanthropy here in Illinois and with our partners in Wisconsin. Thank you for being a part of this journey.”
Our partnership with Advocate Health Care started in 2001 and has grown and evolved over the course of time. Harris & Harris is thrilled that such a deep relationship with Advocate Health Care has developed over the last 17 years. We are grateful for the many opportunities to give back through the Advocate Charitable Foundation.
